A quick sumbission 45 minutes before the start of 2008.

What a rough year it has been. I've hated it.

But nonetheless, I quickly shaded this after I downloaded an art program for free the other day, it's called Gimp. It's so confusing to me though. But it's good. I'm not happy or sad with this. I think I did ok baring in mine I havn't done any digital work for 6 months.. apart from MS Paint. Ha.

This is my fursona.. which is incredibley boring and the colours still aren't right. They're too grey.. I like it but I want it creamy. My smudging sucks.. how do you pro's get it so smooth.. eh?

Also, my lines are fat, wriggly and splodgey. Ha. Oh well. I'll try and improve next time. For the time being techniques on how to use GIMP would be useful. Maybe there is some tutorials on here.

The lines might be splodgey, but I actually really like that. It makes the picture work. And awesome shading job! I such at shading like that! I haven't even heard of GIMP before. But rofl. GIMP. Haha.

I know, the name makes me laugh aswell. At first I didn't take any notice but then I realised and cracked up.

But thanks. My shading isn't realistic either though. And I hate the lines, they will improve.

I'm not sure if you want to but because your a great friend of mine would you like to join my roleplay forum? It's not just Stabled Horses it also involves Wild Horses and Unis and Peophins so there is a variety. I'd appreciate it.
